Empowering futures, inspiring hope
Welcome to the M.A.C.K. Foundation. We are dedicated to supporting the educational dreams of graduating students in Williamsburg, South Carolina, and raising vital awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Join us in making a difference.
Mission Statement
The M.A.C.K Servant Leader Scholarship (Merit and Academics for Christ’s Kingdom)
The M.A.C.K. Foundation established the scholarship and ALS Awareness Program on May 16, 2026, in loving memory of Deacon Mark A. Dorsey Sr., whose legacy demonstrated unwavering faith, perseverance, and generosity.
Inspired by Psalm 34:4 — “I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears” — this scholarship honors a legacy rooted in faith over fear and service over self. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic merit, Christ-centered character, and a commitment to using their education to serve others and advance God’s Kingdom.
Through this scholarship, we aim to encourage recipients to seek the Lord in all they do, walk boldly in faith, and pursue excellence with humility—carrying forward a legacy of courage, compassion, and steadfast trust in God.
Our core initiatives
We are driven by two main pillars: providing financial support for education and increasing awareness of ALS. Both initiatives aim to bring positive change and support to those who need it most.
Every scholarship awarded and every piece of ALS awareness shared contributes to a brighter future. The M.A.C.K. Foundation is committed to transparency and community impact. Explore how you can be a part of our journey.
Get Involved
As you step into your future, remember that your greatest impact will not come from what you have, but from what you give—your time, your knowledge, and your heart.
“In honor of Deacon Mark A. Dorsey, Sr.,
let your education be more than a milestone—
let it be a tool to serve, to uplift, and to make a lasting difference.”
