Welcome to the M.A.C.K. Foundation

Learn about our mission, our inspiration, and how we're making a difference in the lives of students and in the fight against ALS. We're dedicated to empowering the next generation and raising vital awareness.

Our inspiration and founding

The M.A.C.K. Foundation was formally established on May 16, 2026, in honor of Deacon Mark Anthony Dorsey, Sr. Deacon Dorsey was diagnosed with ALS in 2008 and lived with the disease for over 17 years. He was a God-fearing man who was loving, caring, and always tried to help a person in need, whether financially or by offering a word from God.

Our goals for students and ALS awareness

Our main goals are to motivate graduating students from Williamsburg County to reach for the stars, bring awareness to ALS, and provide support for those who have been affected by it. We believe in empowering the next generation while shedding light on this challenging disease.

Making a difference, one life at a time

The M.A.C.K. Foundation will be providing one scholarship per high school in Williamsburg County. We will continue to spread information about ALS and provide resources on counseling, steps for care, and daily prayer requests, aiming to support both students and those impacted by ALS.

"The M.A.C.K. Foundation is not just about scholarships; it's about building a legacy of hope and support for our community."
